Job description

The product engineering adheres to the Agile principals. As a Lead Product Engineer, you will primarily spend your work hours on design-code-test the product features. Hence, to succeed in this role, fluency with “coding” the JSPs RWD, Spring Beans, Hibernate, and SQL is essential.

This is a W2 position and work could be done remotely. 

Your day-to-day work as a Lead Product Engineer in ? 

  • A “Product feature” will get assigned to you as a Backlog item.
  • Understand specifications by reading the Use Cases, Supplemental Specs, Story Boards and the Test Cases mentioned in the Backlog.
  • Prepare a plan-of-action to complete the Design, Code and Test the feature within a reasonable time frame.
  • Create JSP pages and server-side code using Spring/Security/web services, Hibernate/HQL/SQL, and AMQ. We use JBoss.
  • Create Automated Test Suite using MS VSTS to test the feature.
  • Conduct Performance Testing using MS VSTS.
  • Use SVN, Hudson, and SONAR.
  • Discuss the progress on a daily basis and demonstrate your work products to the team of reviewers on a regular basis.
