Flash Biometrics | Hybrid/Remote – Claremont, CA
Salary Range: $100,000–$125,000

About Flash Biometrics

Flash Biometrics is transforming event admissions with fast, secure, and accessible facial recognition technology. Our Flash Facial Recognition (FFR) platform enhances safety, reduces fraud, and improves the overall experience for youth sports tournaments and large-scale events.

In just six months, we earned the trust of over 1 million users by prioritizing user experience, data security, and operational efficiency. We are now entering a significant growth phase, expanding FFR into new markets and use cases.

The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale the next generation of our FFR platform. This is a hybrid/remote position based in Claremont, CA.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative product and engineering team to:

  • Architect and develop new systems that expand FFR into new industries
  • Build scalable, secure backend services and integrations
  • Maintain and improve existing systems to ensure performance and reliability
  • Collaborate across product, operations, and client-facing teams
  • Contribute to technical decisions that shape our long-term architecture

This is not a “clock-in, clock-out” role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, moves with urgency, and thrives in an environment where expectations are high and impact is real.

What We’re Looking For

Core Qualifications

  • 1+ year of professional (non-internship) software development experience
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
  • Experience with object-oriented programming principles
  • Proficiency working with relational databases
  • Familiarity with version control systems and modern development workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

What Sets You Apart

  • You hold yourself to a high standard of execution
  • You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • You’re willing to put in focused, sustained effort when the business demands it
  • You take full ownership of your work — from idea to deployment
  • You think in systems and understand how components scale together
  • You design with the end user in mind

We value intensity, accountability, and resilience. Building category-defining technology requires commitment — and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow alongside the company as we scale.

Why Join Flash Biometrics?

  • Work on technology that directly improves safety and operational efficiency
  • Join at a pivotal stage of expansion
  • Influence architecture and product direction
  • Competitive salary and growth opportunity

If you’re driven, technically sharp, and excited to build something meaningful at scale, we’d love to talk.
