    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Software Development team - focused on building a greenfield intranet + LMS platform - based on our learnings from our current platform.

    This role will be engaged in end-to-end software development for both our Backend and Frontend, and will report to our Tech Lead. You must be senior level already, and if not, please only apply if you believe that is your natural next step based on your experience.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Approaching your work with genuine care for future maintainability and reliability.
    • Planning and building core systems and features for a .NET based RESTful backend.
    • Planning and building core systems and features for a TypeScript based React SPA frontend.
    • Collaborating to establish and maintain growth promoting engineering principles and guardrails.
    • Working closely with our product team to shape requirements and communicating technical constraints and advantages.


    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of professional development experience.
    • 2+ years of development experience with .NET and C#.
    • 2+ years of development experience with TypeScript and/or React.
    • Experience with high level software project planning and organization.
    • Deep understanding of relational databases and utilizing them efficiently.
    • Strong communication skills, both cross-functional and with other developers.


    Desired Qualifications

    • Strong grasp on setting up unit and E2E testing.
    • Strong grasp on web application security fundamentals.
    • Experience with generating and utilizing OpenAPI contracts for internal APIs.
    • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment, particularly for distributed systems.
    • Experience building AI-based information retrieval systems such as vector search, knowledge graphs, and/or agentic RAG.
