We're actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Journey team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is open to hybrid or full remote.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting-edge web solutions to enhance Customer Journey. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 5 people in the CMD division. Your colleagues will include Senior System Analysts & Engineer fellow professionals that believes in open communication, collaboration & teamwork, continuous learning, innovation and at the same time having fun by virtue or recognitions and celebrations.
How you will make an impact:

  • Design, Develop & Deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
  • Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.


The experience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of software development experiences with minimum 2 years of experience as Full Stack Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (Angular/React/TypeScript).
  • Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Java, Node.js)
  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience with Work Management platforms Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance

  • AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Developer)

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$124,830.00 - $152,570.00
