Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Our clients include commercial and government health payers. Your primary responsibility is to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web-based applications that addresses client objectives. You will work in collaboration with project managers, data scientists, analysts, and other developers as appropriate to ensure the successful implementation of the client solution. The Full Stack Developer duties include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using a variety of front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into requirements.
  • Design, develop, and test new features and functionality.
  • Integrate web applications with other applications and data systems.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies.

Educational Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or another relevant field.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of experience:

  • 4+ years of experience developing software and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Angular, Node.js, and/or other web technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases, including SQL.
  • Develop, maintain, and integrate scalable RESTful API based solutions.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with building and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deploying infrastructure using services such as GitHub Actions, CloudFormation and/or Jenkins.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or knowledge in healthcare analytics, including EHRs, clinical data, and health information exchange (HIE)
  • Understanding of security and compliance regulations in healthcare, such as HIPAA and HITEC is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
