Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $47/hr - $52/hr

  • Seeking experienced Staff/Lead Software Engineers to design and build scalable backend services for an enterprise platform focused on infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in backend engineering with strong expertise in distributed systems and platform engineering.
  • Strong experience in Java and Go (Golang).
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems and backend architecture.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of API design, concurrency, system scalability and reliability.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
  • Knowledge of cloud / on-prem infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience with secrets management tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend services and APIs for infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Build and manage workflow orchestration using Temporal or similar frameworks.
  • Develop provider integration layers and service orchestration components.
  • Implement automation frameworks for system configuration, compliance, and lifecycle operations.
  • Ensure system reliability through idempotent processing, retry and fault-tolerant design, and observability and monitoring.
  • Integrate with enterprise services such as registry systems, UI platforms, and workflow engines.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release automation.
  • Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and design artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform, infrastructure, and security.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with private cloud / virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, etc.).
  • Exposure to multi-cloud / hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience operating workflow platforms in enterprise setups.
