  • Design and develop Linux-based platform software for high-performance routing and switching platforms.
  • Develop platform infrastructure responsible for hardware discovery, initialization, inventory management, environmental monitoring, interface management, telemetry, and chassis services.
  • Drive software bring-up of next-generation networking platforms based on custom ASICs/NPUs and merchant silicon.
  • Define hardware abstraction layers and software interfaces that support multiple hardware generations and platform variants.
  • Develop and maintain low-level platform software, device drivers, and hardware-management services.
  • Work closely with ASIC, hardware, systems, manufacturing, and software teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex platform and hardware/software integration issues.

  • Strong Linux systems programming experience.
  • Experience developing software for routers, switches, firewalls, networking appliances, or similar infrastructure products.
  • Experience bringing up new hardware platforms from early development through production deployment.
  • Experience debugging complex problems at the hardware/software boundary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Platform management
    • Chassis management
    • Environmental monitoring
    • Hardware inventory
    • Telemetry
    • Interface management
