Investment Management Sales (UHNW & Family Office)
Chicago or New York (hybrid/remote considered)
Leading investment management firm seeks seasoned business development professional with experience raising assets, building relationships, and creating custom investment solutions for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) investors and family offices.
Responsibilities:
Generate new leads and identify prospects focusing on high-net-worth investors, family offices, and their consultants/advisors, and develop those relationships to raise assets for the firm's investment strategies
Develop/implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns to attract and retain clients in alignment with firm's overall business objectives
Develop proposals/pitchbooks, and brochures for more effective presentations, email, and social media marketing
Develop investment proposals that address tax efficiency, legacy positions, restricted holdings, outside holdings, multi-year transitions, and unique risk and return objectives
Work closely with portfolio specialists, investment consultants, operations associates, and retail and wholesale sales teams to effectively build relationships and grow client assets
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to effectively position the firm and its strategies
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, providing regular reports and updates to senior management and compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance/business or related field; CFA or CFP a plus
5+ years of sales experience in investment management with a focus on high net worth and family offices
Extensive network of prospective clients and industry contacts
Deep understanding of investment products and strategies, financial markets, and regulatory environment
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel to meet with prospects and clients, and attend industry conferences and events
