Tiger Valuation Services is seeking a skilled writer and editor who wants to put their talents to use while gaining a deep knowledge of the business world in the process. Our writers create polished, thoughtful appraisal reports about companies in a wide variety of industries. No extensive business or financial experience is required – we’ll provide all the training – but the ideal candidate is curious and logical, with extremely strong writing skills. 

Tiger provides expert valuation of companies’ inventory and assets to banks and other lending institutions. Our appraisal reports are used by these institutions when issuing loans to a variety of companies, including some of the nation’s largest retail chains, food distributors, and consumer-goods manufacturers.

Job Description: 

  • Craft clear, thorough appraisal reports using information from multiple sources, including written notes and conversations with appraisers, as well as data summarized by analysts 
  • Participate in refining the team’s understanding of the business and developing the valuation strategy by working closely with other team members 
  • Edit own work and the work of other writers for grammar and clarity 
  • Accurately implement changes based on feedback from other team members 


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience in a writing-related field 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently and adapt to changing priorities 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate new technical concepts and ideas
