Join our Growing Specialty Pharmacy Team to lead the way in improving the lives of our patients! Onco360 has an immediate need for a Manager of Purchasing. Onco360 is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm EST - Remote Position available.
Salary range starting at $110k + depending on experience.

Position Summary:
The Manager of Purchasing will be responsible for overseeing and managing the teams responsible for the procurement, and/or inventory management of pharmaceuticals and, on occasion, non-pharmaceutical products.
Manager of Purchasing Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the procurement of pharmaceutical products for all locations. Manage the ordering process and inventory levels according to contractual obligations and executive set methodologies
  • Oversight of all purchasing and inventory activities with a focus on supporting and developing the team.
  • Ownership of process development, review and documentation.
  • Studies and standardizes current procedures and tools to improve efficiency to minimize patient delays.
  • Assist in continued roll out and monitoring of DSCSA compliance.
  • Partner with other departments when audit requests arise (accounting, accreditation, etc.)
  • Support selection of new team members including onboarding, training and performance feedback.
  • Will play a role in supporting and educating the site fulfillment teams.
  • Will be primary back up for director.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Manager of Purchasing Qualifications:
Education/Learning Experience
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • Desired: MBA or other Advanced Business Degree
Work Experience
  • Required: 5+ years of pharmaceutical (or other types of healthcare) purchasing experience
  • Desired: Previous leadership/supervisory experience with a history of managing high volume PO’s and high value inventories with a JIT inventory methodology.
Skills/Knowledge
  • Required: 2-4 years experience supervising others. Ability to analyze data and develop conclusions. Data driven decision making. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Desired: CPR+ or other inventory dispensing system experience. Certified Pharmacy Technician. Previous financial management experience helpful. Strong communication and organizational skills required.
