The Role

We are looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Representative to drive sales of particle counters, microbial samplers, environmental monitoring solutions, consumables, and services across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. In this remote role, you will manage a diverse and established customer base while working from a home office. Success in this position requires frequent travel-including overnight stays-to build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver measurable revenue results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Prioritize high-value opportunities and proactively manage territory performance
  • Client Engagement: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure ongoing satisfaction and partnership
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of product lines, applications, and competitive differentiators. Stay current through internal training and external industry resources
  • Sales Cycle Management: Lead all phases of the sales process-from prospecting and lead qualification to quoting, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up
  • CRM & Data Analysis: Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce.com. Use Power BI to analyze territory performance, forecast revenue, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Solution Development: Identify environmental monitoring project opportunities, define scope, and collaborate with the Project Team to generate accurate quotes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Projects, Service, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless project delivery, resolve client issues, and develop case studies and technical collateral
  • Market Presence: Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Travel 50-80% to cover the assigned region and build a strong local network
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate internal processes and contribute to a culture of operational excellence and efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical, engineering or life sciences discipline
  • 3-5 years of direct B2B sales experience in capital equipment, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or cleanroom manufacturing industries
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex product features into client-focused solutions
  • Residence within the assigned territory (Texas strongly preferred)
  • Willingness to travel 50-80% across TX, OK, LA, and AR
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Korn Ferry), CRM tools (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to manage a remote territory autonomously with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sterile pharmaceutical regulations (cGMP, FDA, USP, ISO standards)
  • Familiarity with industry organizations such as PDA, ISPE, IEST, and ASTM
  • Experience working in a remote, home-office environment with high self-discipline
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through delivery and invoicing

  • This is a work from home position with significant regional travel
  • This role primarily operates in home-office environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
