What is a remote inventory control?

A Remote Inventory Control job involves managing and tracking a company's inventory from a remote location, often using specialized software. Professionals in this role ensure that stock levels are accurate, monitor shipments, and coordinate with warehouses or vendors to maintain proper inventory records. They may also analyze inventory trends, generate reports, and help optimize inventory processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with inventory management systems, are important for success in this job.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote inventory control specialist?

To thrive as a Remote Inventory Control Specialist, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in inventory management, often supported by a relevant degree or certification. Familiarity with inventory management software (such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and proficiency in Excel are typically required. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are vital soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure accurate inventory tracking, minimize errors, and facilitate seamless operations across distributed teams.

What are some common challenges faced in a remote inventory control role, and how can they be addressed?

A common challenge in remote inventory control is maintaining real-time accuracy and visibility into stock levels without being physically present at the warehouse. This can be addressed by leveraging inventory management software that supports real-time data entry and regular communication with on-site staff. Establishing clear protocols for reporting discrepancies and scheduling frequent virtual check-ins with the warehouse team also helps ensure issues are resolved promptly. Staying organized and proactive in monitoring inventory reports is key to overcoming these challenges.

________________________

HelloI am Tim, CEO and Co-Founder at Kayzen, and I am looking for our very first US hire: President, US.

In this role, you  will be owning all aspects of our US market entry. Build first partnerships, roll out GTM, coordinate delivery functions and more. You will be supported by an existing team mostly based in Europe, including myself. I plan to spend significant time in the US to help you build up the business with a founder-led approach. We do already have a client base in the US though no local GTM team. Given the strong inbound interest we see for our product, we decided to double down on our next phase of growth, focusing on the US market.

If you have not heard of Kayzen before:

Kayzen is an inApp DSP dedicated to democratizing app advertising across mobile and CTV apps. We enable leading apps, agencies, media buyers, and brands to run programmatic customer acquisition, retargeting, and brand performance campaigns through our self-serve and managed service options. Built on the three core pillars of performance, transparency, and control, Kayzen powers the world's best performance marketing teams with bespoke solutions that fuel business growth and deliver a competitive advantage. With a scale of 300B+ daily ad requests from 1.6B+ unique users worldwide, we serve up to 1B+ ads per day in 180 countries. Kayzen is accessible through our APIs and user interface.
We are a founder-led business, run by a team in which most senior members have at least a decade of experience in the mobile app performance advertising space. We are currently around 90 FTE and keep growing profitably.
The Team

You will be part of the global leadership team, working with Co-Founders / management and a carefully selected, diverse and globally distributed team of leaders and ICs spanning customer success, marketing, sales & business development, data, product and more functions. We are highly motivated and aligned in our quest to disrupt the multi-billion dollar mobile and CTV ad-tech industry.

The Role

Your role requires a deep understanding of the advertising technology industry with its various actors, such as advertisers, agencies, ad platforms (DSPs, SSPs, Measurement, etc). Kayzen offers a leading technology platform used by a diverse set of customers (multiple ICPs: Apps, Agencies, Media Buyers) who aim to get performance outcomes from ad campaigns running on CTV and mobile apps. The unifying element of our customers is that they choose Kayzen for our ability to deliver measurable results while giving them full transparency and control. Whether the outcomes they look for are app installs, new customers, purchases and repeat purchases or upper funnel goals like engagement and brand lift.

The main geographic market focus of our business is on Europe and the US, though the platform accesses inventory globally. The Kayzen team members you will interact with are primarily based in Europe (soon growing in the US).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the C-Suite to develop and execute GTM strategies for growing our business in the US
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts such as partners, select key customers and suppliers, and multipliers who can help us amplify our reach
  • Build a lean but high performing team that is strongly aligned with our culture and values (for culture and values, see more here: kayzen.io/careers)
  • Deeply empathise with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and perspectives, analyze and understand industry trends and translate that into building best-in-class messaging and positioning for Kayzen
  • Represent Kayzen on industry events and build a community around the Kayzen platform in the US
  • Understand, reflect and funnel back product and market feedback from the US to key stakeholders at Kayzen, such as the C-Suite and other members of the leadership team
  • Build a compounding revenue engine by winning new customers and keep growing existing customers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mobile or CTV advertising technology field
  • Demonstrated track record of growing a scale-up and building a compounding revenue engine with strong leadership execution in a previous role is a big plus
  • Excellent command of the English language, both in writing and speaking
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • A genuine passion for the advertising technology sector
  • A preference for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international environment and experience working with (hybrid) remote teams
  • Strong collaboration skills aligning vision and execution roadmap cross-functionally with other leaders (peers) in the organization
  • Previous experience with public speaking on industry events is a plus
  • Previous experience building a community around a B2B SaaS product, preferably in the marketing & adtech sector is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow market leading teams
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools as a productivity accelerator for day to day work and a strong motivation to continue building your AI-first execution toolset

What do we offer?

  • Working directly with a founder team which is highly committed and experienced
  • Competitive fixed compensation (+ variable compensation tied to revenue goals)
  • Significant equity package in a growing, profitable company
  • Exceptional career growth and learning opportunity
