Job description


We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. This role is responsible for analyzing healthcare-related data, developing reports, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analysis, SQL, and data warehousing best practices, with a focus on supporting healthcare-related data systems.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze healthcare-related data to support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL and other BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
• Perform data profiling and validation to identify data anomalies.
• Document data processes and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide regular project updates to customers and maintain strong communication.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical training as needed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Perform additional duties as required to support project and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of healthcare business analysis experience supporting business initiatives through data analysis, writing business requirements and user acceptance testing of various systems
• 5+ years of SQL development, including performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience working with State Medicaid and CHIP agencies or equivalent healthcare payer
• Basic understanding of CMS reporting requirements for Medicaid
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong team collaboration and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with PERM, T-MSIS, CMS Federal Reporting or similar projects
• Experience in developing Adult/Child Core Measures, HEDIS, CHIPRA or similar quality metrics
• Experience with healthcare-related data systems.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
