Packsize is redefining the way businesses and their customers use and experience packaging around the world. We build the technology, design the right solutions, and automate the processes that propel the industry forward. To us, packaging is much more than a box-it's delivering what's right for our customers, their customers, our people, and the planet.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a hands on SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect with strong expertise in Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Quality Management (QM) and Warehouse Management (WM) within SAP ECC. This role will primarily support and enhance our current ECC environment, resolving issues, improving processes, reducing manual work, and driving clean, scalable solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Provide daytoday SAP ECC support across procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, and qualityrelated functions, including handson configuration, troubleshooting, and rootcause analysis.

  • Support and enhance procurement processes, including PO lifecycle, source lists, info records, subcontracting, consignment, pricing conditions, GR/IR, and supplier master data alignment.

  • Strengthen and optimize inventory and warehouse execution, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, staging, bin management, transfer orders, replenishment, cycle counting, physical inventory, batch/serial management, and handling units (if applicable).

  • Improve integration between MM/WM/QM and upstream/downstream processes such as production, quality, shipping/logistics, and service/returns.

  • Support and enhance QM touchpoints within the supply chain, inspection lots, results recording, usage decisions, and quality notifications related to inbound and inprocess materials.

  • Work directly with purchasing, warehouse, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to understand operational issues and translate them into practical ECC solutions.

  • Streamline procurement and warehouse processes by reducing manual work, eliminating unnecessary customizations, and leveraging SAP standard best practices.

  • Begin building the path toward S/4HANA, including:

    • Identify MM/IM/WM/QM simplification items and functional deltas

    • Recommend cleancore approaches and process harmonization opportunities

    • Highlight where ECC technical debt and customizations will impact S/4 readiness

  • Document processes, functional and technical designs, mapping documents, and test scenarios in clear, businessfriendly language.

  • Collaborate closely with other SAP functional teams and developers; must have experience working with and managing contractors.

  • Support testing cycles, cutover planning, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring
  • 10-15+ years handson SAP experience with deep SAP ECC expertise in MM, IM, WM, and strong working knowledge of QM.

  • Strong understanding of procurement, warehousing, inventory transactions, quality inspection integrations, and the related master data required to support these processes.

  • Experience supporting operational teams in daytoday purchasing, warehouse, and qualityrelated activities, including the ability to walk through real operational scenarios and troubleshoot effectively.

  • Ability to communicate with business users in clear, simple, jargonfree language.

  • Curiosity, strong problemsolving skills, and a proactive mindset.

MustHaves
  • Must be handson in ECC configuration across MM/IM/WM (not just oversight).

  • Must be able to run workshops with purchasing, warehouse, and manufacturing teams.

  • Must be able to analyze procurement, inventory, and warehouse process breakdowns and recommend SAPstandard solutions.

  • Must be able to document processes and functional specifications clearly and concisely.

  • Must collaborate well with other architects, functional consultants, and technical teams.

  • Must be authorized to work in US.

Location & Travel
  • Location: Louisville, KY or Salt Lake City, UT preferred.

  • Remote: U.S.-based remote candidates will be considered.
