Job description

Overview This role can be located at any Huntington corporate office. The Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager - Equipment Finance analyzes and monitors the creditworthiness of assigned customers/accounts, recommends and/or approves credit within established guidelines, and performs financial statement analysis and ratio/trend analysis to determine customer financing eligibility. Responsibilities Underwrite high-quality credit narratives in support of new and existing loans. Review and analyze loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and related documentation. Spread business and personal financial statements and tax returns using Moody's software to analyze multi-year trends and ratios. Understand cash flow from operations, including identifying recurring and non-recurring sources. Research industry trends and risks. Perform collateral analysis (accounts receivable, inventory, real estate, investments). Run credit reports and gather/analyze KYC information. Collaborate with other areas to monitor delinquency trends and repossession activity. Prepare written recommendation on proposed loan approval and provide alternate loan structure recommendations. Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced analysts; coach and mentor. Lead special projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; 5+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience structuring and underwriting commercial credit; proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel; strong written and verbal communication; strong customer service orientation; established professional network; high level of professionalism. Additional Information Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay). Workplace type: Office. Certain positions may be eligible for flexible work arrangements combining in-office and remote work. Specific arrangements will be provided by the hiring team. Compensation Range: $63,000 - $154,000 per year (base salary). Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and education. Eligible for incentive compensation plan and various benefits.
