Position Summary

The Business Analyst plays a key role in McKesson's AI Workflow Transformation Pods, working directly with business leaders, process owners, and transformation teams to identify, analyze, and redesign high value workflows.

This role is responsible for understanding current state processes, uncovering pain points, defining future state opportunities, and translating business needs into actionable requirements for AI, automation, Copilot, and workflow transformation initiatives.

The Business Analyst serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring solutions are aligned to measurable business outcomes and enterprise priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow Discovery & Analysis

  • Facilitate discovery sessions and process mapping workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Document current state workflows, pain points, decision points, handoffs, and dependencies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, customer experience, and operational performance.
  • Analyze workflow performance metrics, volumes, cycle times, error rates, and business impact.

Future State Design

  • Partner with business leaders to redesign workflows leveraging AI, Copilot, automation, and process improvements.
  • Help define future state operating models and business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, reduce manual effort, and streamline operations.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions using established scoring frameworks.

Requirements & User Stories

  • Translate business needs into detailed requirements and user stories.
  • Define acceptance criteria and business outcomes.
  • Partner with Product Owners and solution teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
  • Maintain documentation throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, SMEs, and cross functional teams.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to leadership audiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the transformation journey.

Measurement & Value Realization

  • Establish baseline KPIs and success measures.
  • Support development of business cases and ROI estimates.
  • Track transformation outcomes and business impact.
  • Partner with reporting and analytics teams to measure results and adoption.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst, Process Improvement, Consulting, or Transformation experience.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
  • Strong process mapping and business analysis skills.
  • Experience working with senior business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into structured requirements and actionable plans.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI, Microsoft Copilot, automation, workflow transformation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and user story creation.
  • Knowledge of process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience using tools such as Visio, Miro, Power Platform, Jira, Azure DevOps, or related platforms.
  • Healthcare, distribution, supply chain, finance, or shared services experience preferred.
