Job description

OCI Security Engineer

Location: Baltimore/ Remote

Duration: 6 months

DevSecOps skills

Experience in Terraform including providers for Azure, Azure Active Directory, OCI, Okta.

General technical understanding of OCI platform and supporting technologies

Knowledge of compliance testing compliance controls using tools e.g., Checkov and Terraform-Compliance

Familiarity and experience performing vulnerability assessment in cloud environments (Containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD etc.).

YAML-based pipelines

OCI and IAM/SSO skills

Understanding of transforming traditional security infrastructure e.g., firewall rules and policies to IAC/Terraform

Understanding of migrating workloads to OCI, OCI PCI-based framework, and best practices securing OCI landing zones (Containers, Dynamic Routing Gateways, etc.).

Knowledge of cloud foundational components such as identity and access management (IAM), IDM lifecycle management and governance

Zero-Trust skills

Understanding of Zero Trust model.

Experience in implementing the Microsoft XDR stack including Defender and Endpoint Management/Intune.

Strong problem-solving skills in stressful situations

Good time management skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong systems troubleshooting, process workflow and good communication skills are a requirement.
