• Provide empathetic and ethical mental health counseling via telehealth services, facilitating sessions through video conferencing.
• Employ solution-focused therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to create personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Assist clients in gaining insights into their emotions, thoughts, and interpersonal dynamics to foster personal growth.
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
• Equip clients with healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for managing life’s challenges.

As a licensed mental health counselor at Center for Emotional Wellness Health Care Inc., you will mainly support adults presenting with low to moderate acuity mental health needs. This includes individuals seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management. Our approach is client-centered, ensuring that care is customized to the specific challenges and circumstances each client faces.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• You must hold one of the following relevant licenses to practice independently in Georgia:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No disciplinary actions or limited/provisional licenses will be accepted.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate disposition are essential.
• Proficiency with technology and software systems to navigate virtual counseling tools effectively.

• Experience in a telehealth environment is preferred but not necessary.
• Familiarity with solution-based therapeutic approaches is a plus.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural sensitivities.
