Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations designed to accurately determine clients' mental health status and needs, ensuring that care is tailored to the individual.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique goals, needs, and preferences, leveraging therapeutic techniques that are evidence-based and solution-focused.
• Provide individual therapy sessions primarily for adult clients, utilizing teletherapy platforms to enhance accessibility and participation.
• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring that clients receive timely support in urgent situations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices and enhance your therapeutic skills.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at SpringLeaf, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population that includes adults from various backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that promote rapport-building with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude, essential for client engagement and support.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective time-management skills, critical for managing a caseload effectively.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth setting or familiarity with virtual therapy modalities.
• Prior experience in developing treatment plans and engaging in therapeutic interventions across diverse populations.
• Skill in utilizing mental health management software to facilitate appointments and documentation.

• A competitive salary range of $90,000 – $104,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload.
