The Licensed Mental Health Counselor role at Bright Health Rehab and Counseling Center is a full-time, remote opportunity focused on providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will engage in a wide array of responsibilities that include:
- Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand patients' needs and strengths.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on clinical evaluation of mental health concerns.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in status, ensuring high standards of care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to formulate discharge plans that address the continued needs of patients post-treatment.
- Providing referrals to community resources, support groups, and other vital services to enhance patient well-being.
- Organizing and prioritizing daily caseloads by assessing new, current, and discharging patient needs.
- Actively participating in case conferences to discuss treatment strategies and optimize continuity of care.
- Serving as an advocate for patients and families to facilitate effective communication and resource access.
Our counselors serve a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. The primary focus includes individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral challenges. QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC in the state of Nevada.
- Demonstrated experience with clinical assessments and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance a candidate’s application:
- Previous experience in a telehealth setting.
- Knowledge of community mental health resources and ongoing collaborations.
- Training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer:
