This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to create a balanced work-life experience. You will operate in an outpatient setting, conducting therapeutic sessions via secure digital platforms, ensuring a confidential and safe environment for all client interactions. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional state, identifying needs and formulating tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, tackling a range of mental health challenges from anxiety and depression to relationship issues.
• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening intimate relationships.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies based on thorough assessments, utilizing techniques such as Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapeutic interactions and strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with a network of interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention to clients in acute distress.
• Engage in professional development to stay updated on the latest therapeutic approaches and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Advocate for clients' rights, empowering them through education and resources to make informed decisions about their treatment options.

Your primary clients will range from individual adults grappling with various mental health conditions to couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Maryland.
• Demonstrated experience providing effective individual and couples therapy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and therapeutic tracking.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults.
• A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
