Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hiring Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will scour all available avenues to fill our open positions with the best-qualified candidates. Your responsibilities will include advertising open positions on various platforms, sourcing candidates, and developing hiring plans. The ideal candidate is outgoing with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven track record as a Recruiter or Hiring Specialist. Will also be responsible for managing payroll and other HR duties.  
Responsibilities 
  • Oversee and coordinate all stages of the hiring process
  • Research potential hires on resume databases and portfolio sites
  • Reach out to candidates via phone and email and follow up with regular communication
  • Build a network of contacts and potential candidates
  • Place ads and write copy for open positions
  • Conduct in-person, video, and phone interviews
  • Attend job fairs and networking events to build a pool of candidates
  • Track key performance indicators and report on recruiting metrics
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred 
  • Previous experience as a Hiring Specialist, Recruiter, or related position
  • Experience with sourcing tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Familiarity with labor laws and legislation
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects
