We are hiring Market Researchers who want to expand their business acumen, work in a fast-paced environment, and learn about a new industry every month!
Market Researcher:
  • Start Date: Rolling, based on candidate availability
  • Location: Fully remote within the United States. Please note that we are unable to hire employees who reside in the following states: California, Ohio, Washington, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Oregon

Availability Requirements:This is a contract role staffed on a project-by-project basis, with each project typically lasting 3-4 weeks. Researchers must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm ET for the full duration of a project. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, contract-based work, and can commit to working on an ongoing basis as projects arise. U.S. work authorization is required.
Role Overview
Market Researchers play an integral role in developing our market insights through primary research. The core responsibility of the Market Researcher is to conduct phone-based, structured interviews with market participants and industry experts to gain insight into the key players, competitive landscape, and market dynamics. All primary research is conducted over the phone, and the majority of our studies involve calling respondents at their place of business to gain their perspective on their industry and gather both quantitative and qualitative data. Researchers also write up their interviews, and those inputs are directly used in client presentations and deliverables; this research helps business professionals make better investment and strategic decisions. The research center operates out of a separately branded entity to protect the confidentiality of our clients' deals.
Researchers work on teams of 3-5 in a collaborative effort to provide our clients with the best possible market insights. Researchers who perform well are able to be continuously staffed from one project to the next. This position will enhance and strengthen your verbal and written communication skills and give you exposure to an array of industries; you will also gain exposure to strategy consulting from the ground up.
Qualifications
We are seeking articulate, dependable, curious, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy conducting research and are interested in working on a project-by-project basis.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable conducting phone-based research and interviews.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with phone-based research, market research, journalism, writing, or related fields preferred.
  • Bilingual interviewing experience preferred (Spanish, Canadian French, Portuguese, and other languages welcomed).
  • Professional remote work environment, including a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday during standard business hours (9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. ET) on an as-needed, project-by-project basis.
