About the Role:
Join a dynamic team as a ServiceNow Developer and play a pivotal role in driving workflow automation, process optimization, and seamless integrations across a complex ServiceNow ecosystem. You will be at the forefront of enhancing user experience and operational efficiency within a collaborative, remote-friendly environment that values innovation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow workflows and flows to streamline business processes
- Build and support REST/SOAP integrations, APIs, and advanced automation capabilities
- Create and execute thorough unit tests as part of the development lifecycle
- Author and update technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Articles related to ServiceNow functionality
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business goals
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality, scalable ServiceNow solutions
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 3-5 years ServiceNow development experience, including multiple instances and complex environments
- Advanced proficiency with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, JavaScript, and Glide APIs
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data model, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations using JSON and XML
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a fast-paced, remote team setting
Preferred Skills:
- Experience presenting process improvements to leadership
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web development technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in Incident, Request, and Knowledge Management modules
- Advanced familiarity with ServiceNow core product functionality and HI Portal navigation
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- Capability to plan, design, and implement ServiceNow solutions from concept to MVP
