In your role as an LCSW, you will engage in a variety of clinical activities designed to promote mental health and recovery. Your principal responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand patients’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and solution-focused strategies.
• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to administer effective interventions tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Maintaining precise electronic clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and internal standards, ensuring a clear audit trail for treatment processes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team—including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and addiction specialists—to provide coordinated care and address the complex needs of each patient.
• Participating in ongoing case consultations and peer discussions to further enhance your clinical skills and ensure best practices are maintained across the team.
• Educating patients and their families on mental health issues and available treatment resources, empowering them to actively engage in their recovery journey.
• Staying updated on the latest research and developments in mental health care, integrating new knowledge into practice to improve outcomes for your clients.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. This population often includes those in crisis who require immediate and compassionate support. Your expertise will help facilitate their understanding of mental health issues and engage them in a recovery process that prioritizes both safety and empowerment.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, providing you with a solid academic foundation in the principles of social work ethics and practice.
• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence and adherence to ethical guidelines.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in social work settings, particularly in substance use treatment or mental health, is essential to ensure competent service delivery.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused interventions and techniques, showing your capability to help clients navigate their complex emotional landscapes.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
