Job description

As the Compliance Manager, you will provide compliance analysis and guidance to the teams that create and maintain the Caesars Digital platform.  You will partner with the Operations, Business Intelligence, Payments & Fraud, Marketing, and Product departments to develop internal controls, permissible research solutions, and generate required reports.  You will represent Caesars Digital to regulators, create and complete internal audits, train employees, and develop relationships with external agencies.  You will work with Caesars Digital senior leadership, legal department, and external advisors to drive proactive alignment to regulations and other states legalizing sports betting and gambling.

  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a Compliance Manager or Senior level role.
  • Experience working in the Casino / Gambling industry in a legal or compliance-related role is required
  • An interest in sports betting and gambling is preferable
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trusted relationships with regulators
  • Well organized, able to prioritize work
  • Efficient and confident communicator, strong collaboration and influencing skills 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods                                          
  • Must be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periods                                     
  • Regular attendance in the office
  • Stay up to date with legal rulings, precedent, and competitor activity in states where Caesars Digital is active
  • Interpret regulatory requirements in new states that legalize digital gambling and manage any team expansion required
  • Create a process of marketing communications approval, and deliver timely approvals & feedback to marketing teams & external agencies involved
  • Create and manage internal controls and audit compliance against such controls within the digital business
  • Write jurisdiction-specific promotional submissions/promotional terms and conditions in a timely, accurate, and correctly formatted fashion
  • Ensure that promotional campaigns, affiliate agreements, and product releases are compliant with applicable gambling regulations
  • Manage all regular compliance with our Internet Gaming Manager and appropriate federal and state regulatory agencies
  • Ensure that the digital business is aligned with compliance's best practices across Caesars Digital, including our retail locations, across all states
  • Analyze customer data and case learnings to continuously improve compliance
  • Build and promote positive relationships with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Research allowability of proposed product enhancements and system integrations
  • Represent Caesars Digital l to external agencies, including regulatory bodies and other government agencies
  • Review on-site content, such as House Rules, Terms, and Conditions, Privacy Policy
  • Provide compliance guidance to Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, Development, Payments & Fraud teams
  • Generate Incident Reports based upon investigations into system outages
  • Complete weekly audit of Responsible Gaming activities, including Customer Support contacts and regulatory submissions
  • Respond to inquiries or requests for comment from regulators or other agencies
  • Review customer complaints and submit to regulators
  • Present Compliance introduction at orientation
  • Any other duties as assigned given the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape
