• Perform in-depth assessments of clients' mental health challenges, needs, and history to develop accurate diagnostic impressions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based therapeutic methods, adjusting interventions as necessary based on client progress.
• Provide therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy.
• Collaborate with clients to establish achievable therapy goals, monitor their progress, and provide ongoing support and motivation.
• Maintain confidential and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring that all client interactions are accurately recorded and accessible for review.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and professional organizations to stay abreast of the latest treatment methodologies and best practices.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and we value cultural competence, ensuring every client feels understood, respected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active LCMHC licensure in the state of Vermont.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, particularly in settings involving diverse populations.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly and effectively.
• Capable of functioning autonomously while also collaborating with a multidimensional team.

• Experience with teletherapy and virtual counseling methodologies.
• Specializations in areas such as trauma-informed therapy, LGBTQ+ counseling, or substance abuse treatment.
