Ocean Spray is hiring an Assistant Project Manager, Brand Strategy & Design on our US Commercial team! We're an iconic brand and a farmer-owned cooperative. The Assistant Project Manager of Brand Strategy and Design will be the lead steward for packaging design management for our US business. This role will ensure that timelines and key deliverables are met to deliver against desired business results and needs. Working within Brand Elevation, this position will work with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to keep projects moving efficiently and effectively. This role will require a go-getter mindset that enjoys improving creative ways of working across the broader organization. This role will report into the Manager, Creative Planning.

A Day in the Life...

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Steward brand, design and creative strategy on packaging design projects for the Ocean Spray US business.
  • Manage timing, deliverables and cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with the Director of Brand Design & Creative Operations to improve design ways of working.
  • Work closely with production, marketing, and insights to craft A-Z timelines that meet business needs.

Capabilities:

  • Proactively build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging design projects are on schedule.
  • Ability to challenge, understand and interpret a brief and work closely with Sr. Brand Designer on all jobs
  • Ability to anticipate and assess project risks throughout the entire project.
  • Ability to maintain efficient and effective relationships with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Elevated level of polish, preparedness in presentations - knowledge of context, better connections to business objectives
  • Initiate continuous improvement of brand and design strategy processes.
  • Contribute to building a sense of purpose and team culture for the Brand Elevation team within Ocean Spray
  • Plan and manage resources throughout the lifecycle of a project.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience working in packaging design project management.
  • Background in CPG is a plus
  • Comfortable working with designers, production and printing, marketing teams, technical subject matter experts, and agency partners
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Exceptional strategic and creative design sensibilities
  • Ability to lead a project both internally and through external resources.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)

Work Experience:

At least 3 Years of Experience

Annual Salary:

$71,500 - $89,400
