Huckleberry Labs

Job description

About Huckleberry
At Huckleberry, our purpose is simple yet powerful: to build life-changing products and experiences that help all families unlock everyday magic.
Today, more than 5 million families trust Huckleberry and our app to be their partner through parenthood. Real pediatric expertise works hand-in-hand with data science, AI, and behavioral science to provide support behind-the-scenes that guides every parent through their unique journey.
We believe every family should feel taken care of-which is why we're growing quickly and expanding our product offerings to help every family thrive.
Join the Huckleberry team as our Social Media Manager for an exciting 3-month contract (20 hours per week). You'll take the reins on crafting and executing compelling social content, fostering our vibrant online community, and delivering key insights through strategic reporting.
Areas of Responsibility
  • Calendar and programming: Partner with brand and creative teammates on social calendar development, content planning, and publishing across priority platforms: TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit
  • Creative management: Lead the creative process for content, whether from briefing others or from your own hands-on execution
  • Community management: Own brand voice in comments, DMs, and community spaces while coordinating with product and customer support for consistent and accurate responses
  • Measurement and reporting: Maintain regular reporting to power a feedback loop that connects social performance to broader brand and business outcomes
  • Platform and tool familiarity: Bring perspective on trends, culture, and nuances across TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit. Work in Asana, Canva, and Hootsuite.

Requirements
  • 3+ years hands-on social media management experience at a consumer brand, with at least one year owning the day-to-day of a brand's social presence (calendar, publishing, community management)
  • Experience managing content and community across these three priority platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit, with recent (past 12 months) portfolio examples on each
  • Demonstrated ability to write captions and short-form copy in a defined brand voice (portfolio must include caption examples, not just visual assets)
  • Experience running community management for a brand: responding to comments and DMs, escalating sensitive issues, coordinating with cross-functional partners (customer support, product) on responses
  • Working knowledge of Canva (or comparable design tool), Hootsuite (or comparable scheduling tool), and Asana (or comparable project management tool). Not looking for expertise, but looking for someone who won't spend the first two weeks learning the tools
  • Comfort building and maintaining a weekly or biweekly reporting cadence, pulling native analytics, summarizing patterns, flagging what's working and what isn't
  • Available to start within two weeks and commit to a 3-month contract at 20 hours/week

$38 - $50 an hour
20 hours per week. 3-month contract
