At L3Harris, our Corporate Supply Chain organization is a high-visibility team focused on leveraging enterprise scale, enabling strategic digital tools, and strengthening supplier relationships across the company. This role sits within the Corporate Capability Center and will play a key role in shaping the future of L3Harris's digital supply chain capabilities. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable working with data, and eager to think through complex problems from both a customer and systems perspective. This intern will be encouraged to ask questions, explore data, and help design solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and operational effectiveness across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Organize, analyze, and interpret datasets originating from ERP systems, data enrichment sources, supplier subcontracting reports, and internal knowledge management systems.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of supplier classifications across the enterprise to identify common suppliers, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Develop analytical tools, dashboards, or models that improve process efficiency, transparency, and data visibility.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and business segment teams to understand procurement workflows, challenges, and customer needs.
  • Partner with IT and analytics teams to support enhancements to existing tools and help identify opportunities for new digital solutions.
  • Translate data findings into clear insights, recommendations, and visualizations that support business decision-making.
  • Support the Supply Chain AI Council by contributing data-driven insights, exploring innovative ideas, and helping evaluate opportunities to apply analytics and AI to supply chain use cases.

Qualifications

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Hands-on experience with data and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Python, R, C#, Java, or similar.
