A senior techno-functional analyst bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, translating high-level requirements into detailed specifications for IT projects. This role demands a unique combination of business acumen and technical expertise to define, guide, and implement effective reporting and BI solutions across diverse business areas, such as sales, purchasing, manufacturing, finance and more.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of reporting and BI-related technologies, demonstrate the ability to execute moderate to complex data queries, and thrive in a collaborative environment, engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels. Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, integrating, testing, delivering and supporting robust Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse solutions, and identifying opportunities to leverage data for improved decision-making and enhanced business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals, pain points and process gaps
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and act as a trusted advisor, presenting solution options, trade-offs and feasibility assignments
  • Translate the business needs into clear, testable functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Drive end-to-end solutioning from discovery through delivery support
  • Leading or participating in projects, managing tasks, timelines, and deliverables, status reporting and ensuring projects stay on track (scope, cost and schedule)
  • Work closely with developers, architects and other members of the DevOps organization to ensure solution alignment
  • Analyzing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participating in system testing, ensuring the solution meets business requirements, and supporting the implementation process
  • Execute complex queries and adhoc BI reports to analyze source data and validate reporting accuracy and consistency
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, developing training materials, and providing user training to ensure effective solution adoption
  • Providing strategic input on IT initiatives and contributing to the overall technology roadmap
  • Document lessons learned throughout the implementation process to aid future planning and execution
  • Lead /Support rapid prototyping and iterative design for reporting and analytical initiatives
  • Leverage AI tools for documentation acceleration, US ideation and solution exploration

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), in Engineering or information technology related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in IT, Business Intelligence (BI), or Data Warehouse roles; prior experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst is preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing business environment, preferably in the automotive industry, is a plus
  • Proficiency with data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. SAP Analytics cloud experience will be a big plus
  • Exposure working in a landscape with SAP products including SAP BI tools is preferred
  • Must have an extensive knowledge of data warehouse and datamart concepts
  • Experience developing adhoc reports and performing complex data analysis within BI tools
  • Strong Knowledge of SharePoint or comparable collaboration platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience in creating technical and business documents, developing training materials and conducting end-user training
  • Demonstrable experience in business process mapping and optimization
  • Certifications in relevant areas like CBAP, PMI-PBA is preferred
