The successful candidates will engage in providing mental health care solutions to clients remotely, on a full-time basis. With competitive compensation and the allure of flexible schedules, this position is ideal for therapists who want to balance their professional commitments with personal flexibility.

About the Organization

Located in Galveston, Texas, Rapides Healthcare System LLC is a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services. We prioritize the mental well-being of our community and focus on delivering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, allowing therapists to operate from the comfort of their homes or any location of their choosing. You will seamlessly connect with clients through an easy-to-use virtual platform, maximizing your time spent delivering care instead of managing logistics. Our system is designed to reduce administrative burdens, enabling you to focus your attention on your clients and their therapeutic journeys.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating profound client insights into their emotional experiences and interpersonal relationships, promoting self-awareness and growth.
  • Continuous monitoring of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and providing strategies for healthy coping mechanisms to improve their overall quality of life.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with stable, low-acuity adults who present with diverse mental health needs. This client population provides an opportunity for meaningful engagement, as clients are generally seeking to improve their mental wellness through supportive and empathetic counseling. By focusing on proactive mental health solutions, you will aid these individuals in developing the skills needed to navigate life's challenges effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a mental health practitioner, specifically one of the following:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Demonstrated ability to practice independently without supervision, with no provisional or limited licenses or disciplinary actions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and relationship building with clients.
  • Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, coupled with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed practitioner is required, candidates with additional experience in mental health counseling or therapy, particularly in remote settings, will be highly regarded. Prior work with diverse populations and experience in developing effective treatment strategies are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:

  • A one-time sign-on bonus to support your initial transition into the role.
  • Weekly direct deposit to facilitate prompt payments.
