We are seeking aΒ Cloud Integration Software Developer to join one of our Prime Contracts supporting the Government's Corporate Management Services (CMS) organization. In this role, you will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain the enterprise applications and platforms that keep the organization operating every day. Working alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, user experience, and enterprise platforms, you'll help modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, integrate commercial technologies, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience.Β

  • Β Modernize and stabilize mission-critical enterprise systems as part of a team advancing CMS capabilities. Transition existing applications into the modern DevOps software lifecycle, CI/CD pipeline, and standardized technology stack where you will improve reliability, maintainability, and delivery across the enterprise.
  • Design, develop and test software solutions that enable enterprise applications to move to the cloud. Work across the application lifecycle to implement modernization changes in alignment with the Government's selected cloud migration approach.
  • Owen the technical execution of cloud deployments, developing and testing deployment plans and coordinating implementation activities to ensure application changes are introduced smoothly, securely, and with minimal disruption to mission operations.Β 
  • Apply cloud engineering expertise to optimize application performance and resource utilization. Troubleshoot integration challenges, identify opportunities to improve cloud capabilities, and help ensure modernized applications operate effectively within their target cloud environments.Β 
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities, customer requirements, and modernization efforts within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with PolygraphΒ Β 
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Β 
  • Experience managing and optimizing DevOps practices within a project or organization.
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvement.Β 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Β 
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes for automation.
  • Experience working in C2S (AWS) and using EC2, S3, ECS, Fargate and others.
  • Experience with Java, Bash scripting, PythonΒ 
  • Experience the creating and deploying Docker ContainersΒ 
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to work during core hours of 10am-2pm M-F (exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis)Β 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in DevOps and related technologies are highly desirable.
  • Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira.
  • Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS. Β Β 

The estimated salary range for this position is between $200,000-$265,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual's education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
