Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing for flexible work hours while ensuring you are part of a connected team. You will operate within a community health clinic framework, promoting accessibility and inclusivity in mental health services. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured environment while allowing work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients from various backgrounds.
  • Develop tailored, individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances of each client.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.
  • Maintain meticulous client records and ensure strict compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Actively engage in collaborative treatment with clients, helping them set and achieve their mental health objectives.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current Vermont-based LCMHC license.

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills to foster trust and supportive relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in mental health counseling.
