Position Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing and retaining commercial clients by managing renewals, marketing new and renewal business, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring accurate, well-structured coverage programs. This role offers flexibility in work location and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage a book of commercial lines accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients
-Lead the renewal process, including exposure analysis, marketing, quoting, and proposal preparation
-Review policies, endorsements, loss runs, MVRs, and underwriting reports for accuracy and completeness
-Communicate effectively with carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements
-Provide day-to-day client service, including certificates, policy changes, and coverage questions
-Ensure compliance with agency standards, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines
-Collaborate with producers and internal teams to support account growth and retention

Qualifications
-3+ years of commercial lines account management experience preferred
-Experience working in an independent agency environment strongly desired
-Solid understanding of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting concepts
-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
-Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, EPIC, or similar)
-Active Property & Casualty license
