Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous professional development, attending workshops and seminars to stay updated on the latest trends and research in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide counseling services to a diverse clientele, focusing on individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing mental health care. You will address a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. Your ability to culturally empathize and establish rapport will be key in helping these clients navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.
