Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a robust billing service that manages claims, handles client and insurance accounts receivable, oversees benefit and eligibility checks, and negotiates payment plans, allowing you to focus more on client care.
  • Deliver engaging individual and couples therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients across diverse age groups.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including therapy notes and record-keeping activities, in a timely manner to maintain compliance and support continuity of care.
  • Effectively manage your calendar by scheduling ongoing appointments with your clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and support throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with various clinical presentations, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working closely with a diverse clientele who seek help with anxiety, trauma, and relational issues. You will assist individuals and couples, including those from various cultural backgrounds, providing culturally competent and sensitive care. This position requires an understanding of the dynamics of couples therapy as well as individual therapy practices.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field, and hold an independent LCSW license to practice.
  • Exhibit professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, and cultural competency, underpinning your approach to client interactions.
  • Display self-motivation and organizational skills along with effective time-management capabilities necessary for maintaining a full caseload.
  • Commit to working full-time, with availability for a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, including at least two evenings scheduled each week to accommodate client needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in therapy, particularly with couples, is highly desirable and will be considered favorably in the selection process. Significant training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities that address anxiety and trauma will enhance your candidacy.
