Position: Enterprise Strategic Account Executive
Reports To: Enterprise Sales Executive
Location: West/Central/Northeast/Southeast (Remote)
Travel: Up to 75%
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Role Overview

The Strategic Account Executive is a critical contributor to the success of ACV Auctionsโ€™ Enterprise Sales team. This role is responsible for directly managing and growing revenue from major enterprise-level automotive dealership groups by selling ACVโ€™s comprehensive suite of products, including ACV MaxDigital, ClearCar, ACV Transport, and Retail Inspection Solutions (ACV Viper, ACV Pro, ACV Anywhere, and Retail Inspections). The Strategic Account Executive will cultivate C-suite relationships, manage high-value sales cycles, and deliver tailored solutions to drive long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership & Execution

    • Drive individual revenue growth by managing a robust pipeline of enterprise sales opportunities.

    • Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales Executive to achieve team and regional sales targets.

    • Lead complex sales processes, including needs assessments, solution presentations, and contract negotiations.

  • Strategic Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at large automotive dealership groups.

    • Position ACV Auctions as a strategic partner, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through a consultative approach.

    • Identify opportunities to expand product adoption within existing accounts.

  • Market Strategy & Industry Expertise

    • Stay informed on automotive industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive products.

    • Provide strategic insights to clients on how ACVโ€™s solutions can enhance their business operations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with internal teams (product, marketing, customer success) to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.

    • Ensure seamless client onboarding and execution through collaboration with operations and support teams.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making

    • Analyze sales performance, forecast revenue, and identify growth opportunities within the market.

    • Leverage CRM tools for pipeline management and to maintain accurate records of client interactions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally within the automotive or technology sectors.

  • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar deals and achieving revenue growth.

  • Expertise in automotive retail and wholesale operations, with strong financial acumen.

  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly with C-suite executives.

  • Experience using CRM and sales forecasting tools to manage pipelines and drive results.

  • Ability to travel up to 75% and work remotely while maintaining high productivity.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Resides near a major airport, have a reliable newer motor vehicle and holds a valid driverโ€™s license.
