Job Summary

The Cancer Outcomes Research and Education department is seeking a Registered Nurse Research Interventionist to facilitate the delivery of a Supportive Care research intervention. The interventionist will lead a virtual supportive care program for patients with Triple-negative breast cancer who are transitioning to surveillance.
Responsibilities include leading small-group sessions focused on psychoeducation, coping with fear of cancer recurrence, stress management, mindfulness, and basic cognitive-behavioral strategies, in accordance with the study protocol.
Prior experience in oncology, psychosocial care, or group-based interventions is preferred.
Summary
Responsible for leading and conducting research projects to advance nursing knowledge, improve patient care outcomes, and contribute to evidence-based practices. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.
