CORAS is a secure, cloud-native SaaS platform that enables government and defense organizations to manage risk, compliance, and security operations in highly regulated environments.ย

Weโ€™reย looking for aย Cloud Infrastructure Engineerย to helpย operateย and evolve the infrastructure behind CORAS. In this role,ย youโ€™llย work closely with senior engineers to support the reliability, security, and performance of a production system used by Federal customers. This is aย hands-on, mid-level opportunityย for someone with strong Cloud and Linux fundamentals.ย Youโ€™ll contribute to day-to-day operations while also helping improve the platformโ€™s scalability and resilience over time.ย

Key Responsibilitiesย ย

Cloud & Infrastructureย

  • Support andย maintainย AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, storage, load balancing)ย ย
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliabilityย ย
  • Assistย with infrastructure changes and deployments in a production environmentย ย

Systems Administrationย

  • Administer andย maintainย Linux-based systems (RHEL or similar)ย ย
  • Support patching, updates, and system hardening best practices (STIGs)
  • Assist with Windows Server and identity systems, as neededย ย

Containers & Platformย

  • Work with containerized workloads (Docker, ECS/Fargate, or similar)ย ย
  • Support application deployments and infrastructure operationsย ย

Security & Complianceย

  • Follow security best practices and support compliance requirements in a regulated environmentย ย
  • Assistย with vulnerability remediation and system monitoring
  • Gain exposure to frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD security standardsย ย

Collaborationย

  • Partner with engineering and security teams to support a stable, secure platformย ย
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production supportย ย

Required Qualificationsย

Experienceย

Technical Skillsย

  • Familiarity with core AWS services (compute, networking, ย storage)ย ย
  • Basic experience with containers (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, or similar)ย ย
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, security groups)ย ย
  • Exposure to monitoring, logging, or troubleshooting toolsย

Clearance & Complianceย

  • Must be eligible to obtain a DoD security clearanceย ย
  • US Citizenshipย requiredย

Nice to have experienceย ย

  • Experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP, DoD, healthcare, fintech, etc.)ย ย

  • Familiarity with security practices (system hardening, vulnerability scanning)ย ย

  • Exposure to identity systems (Active Directory, SSO)ย ย
  • Experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB or similar)ย ย
  • AWS certifications or relevant technical certificationsย

Work Environmentย

This isย a fullyย remote position. Candidates must be able to work standard US business hours and be available for on-call support as required by a production mission-critical environment.
