• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to deeply understand clients' mental health conditions, personal histories, and therapy goals.
• Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients, setting specific short-term and long-term therapeutic goals that reflect individual needs, preferences, and cultural contexts.
• Provide immediate intervention and crisis support for clients undergoing acute mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques and safety planning.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to support their recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, encompassing assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress assessments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Adhere to the ethical standards and legal guidelines governing mental health practice, ensuring that client confidentiality and informed consent are prioritized.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by effectively engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity in therapy practices.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to deliver holistic and integrated care to clients.

This role encompasses a diverse client population, ranging from children to adults, who may be encountering issues related to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma recovery, stress management, and adjustment disorders. As a counselor, you will not only address these individual concerns but will also contribute to broader community mental health initiatives, promoting overall wellness and resilience.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a pertinent field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Demonstrated clinical experience in providing therapeutic services in a professional setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong ethical principles and professional conduct in all interactions.
• Awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences among clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client tracking.
