Title: IT Administrator

Type: Full Time

Location: Bothell

On-Site: 2 days per week, Hybrid

Benefits: PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k

Pay: $65-72k per year

Must Haves: (Please address their experience with these in the submission)

  • Active Directory: A minimum of 1 year experience: Creation and Deletion of User Accounts. Password management. Adding and removing Computers to a Domain. Manage memberships in Security Groups. Basic understanding of Group Policy and DNS.
  • Entra ID: Management of Security Group Membership. Uses Sign-in Logs and MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) to help troubleshoot user authorization.
  • Intune: Experience Enrolling Devices. Knows basic management controls of Sync, Retire, Wipe, Fresh Start. Has some familiarity with App Deployment.
  • Windows File Server: Experience mapping drives, know how to find the correct security group for an advertised share. Has some familiarity with NTFS Permissions.
  • Windows 11: Basic Installation, Troubleshooting and Remote Access methods (Remote Desktop, Remote Help)

The Systems Administrator plays a crucial role within the organization, reporting directly to the Network Operations Lead. This position is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional help desk support and comprehensive systems administration to all users across the company. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and assisting with the optimal performance of network systems. The Systems Administrator is also tasked with maintaining system security, implementing updates, and documenting technical processes to enhance operational efficiency. By providing timely and effective assistance, the Systems Administrator helps to foster a productive work environment, ensuring that all employees have the necessary tools and support to perform their roles effectively. Outcome-focused practices are essential to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities

·        Responding to user inquiries through various channels such as email, phone, and the service portal.

·        Triaging and solving requests according to the service desk's standard operating procedure.

·        Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met to maintain high-quality service.

·        Escalate issues as needed to ensure all problems are addressed.

·        Providing detailed reports on ticket activities.

·        Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks

·        Setting up accounts and workstations

·        Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure appropriate access to resources.

·        Create, modify, and delete user accounts as needed.

·        Set up new hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.

·        Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates.

·        Oversee the functionality of network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

·        Ensure network file systems are correctly configured and accessible to authorized users.

·        Assist with Backup and Disaster Recovery Testing.

·        Onboard new employees by creating user accounts and assigning necessary permissions.

·        Ensure new users have access to the tools and resources required for their roles.
