Position Overview

Inland Psychiatric Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team full-time. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring individual needs are thoroughly understood.
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate billing and documentation, including individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms, in compliance with specified timeframes.
  • Develop actionable crisis and safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness strategies aimed at promoting clients' stable functioning.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans that equip clients with the tools needed for long-term success following therapy.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations and ensure compliance with Inland Psychiatricโ€™s established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training and continuing education opportunities, ensuring that your skills remain sharp and relevant.
  • Participate actively in case consultation meetings and training sessions to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Complete all licensure renewals and mandatory training as per industry standards and organizational requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, presenting various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Your role is key in providing culturally responsive care that meets the varied needs of these individuals and empowers them towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline directly linked to licensure.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient therapy, particularly with diverse client populations.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit to enhance team dynamics.
  • Previous experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing purposes.
