Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health treatment and support via video conferencing, ensuring individualized care that aligns with clients' recovery goals.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized, recovery-based treatment plans, tailored to address the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and treatment needs to facilitate ongoing effective care.
• Assist clients in creating individual service plans that monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
• Empower clients by teaching vital coping skills, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication methods.
• Actively educate clients about available community resources, assisting them in accessing additional support services while advocating on their behalf.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specializes in supporting adults aged 18 and over who may struggle with mental illness, affecting their ability to sustain independence and community stability. The Counselor will work closely with clients to cultivate skills that enhance their quality of life, addressing a range of challenges from anxiety and depression to coping with life transitions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential.
• Ability to practice independently without supervision and to adhere to ethical standards of confidentiality.
• No history of disciplinary actions on the license.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience, particularly in mental health counseling, is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a nurturing approach to client interactions.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital tools is a plus, along with a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and understanding of current evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
