• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify patient mental health needs, focusing on trauma-related concerns.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that include evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Engage patients in meaningful conversations to understand their emotional struggles, providing a safe space for them to express their feelings.
• Educate both patients and staff on coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, enhancing the overall knowledge base within the clinic.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social service organizations, and community programs to connect patients with necessary resources and services.
• Stay current with industry trends by completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients, including individuals impacted by various traumatic events. You will provide crucial support to help these patients navigate their emotional challenges and develop effective coping strategies. The unique needs of this population require sensitivity, empathy, and a deep understanding of trauma's effects, allowing you to tailor your approach to each individual's circumstances.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, providing a strong foundation in psychological principles and therapeutic practices.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification, demonstrating your professional competency in mental health care.
• At least three years of hands-on experience working with trauma patients, equipping you with the skills necessary to address complex psychological needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to maintain thorough documentation and effectively communicate with team members.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

• Experience with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is highly desirable, streamlining patient management and documentation processes.
