Salesforce Administrator

Team: Technology

Reports to: Director of Technology

Location: Remote (US)

Type: Full-time

About the job

Description

Current Home runs on Salesforce. It's where every lead, sale, install, and dealer payout lives,

and it's wired into the tools our sales and operations teams rely on every day. We're looking

for a Salesforce Administrator to take ownership of that platform — keeping it healthy,

building on it, and making sure the integrations feeding it stay reliable — as we scale our

residential solar, battery, roofing, and HVAC business in California.

This is a builder's role on a small, high-leverage technology team, reporting to the Director of

Technology and working alongside our Salesforce Platform Lead. You'll own the org day to

day and use your business judgment and technical experience to improve how the business

works. We build with modern, AI-assisted tooling (VS Code, the Salesforce CLI, and Claude

Code), so you'll start with declarative work and grow into supporting code-level integrations

without needing to arrive as a developer.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day health of the Salesforce org — users, security and the sharing model,

custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, and configuration.

• Build and maintain declarative automation with Flow, keeping the platform clean, well-

documented, and built to scale.

• Own the integration layer: Zapier plus the systems that sync with Salesforce (Five9,

SalesRabbit, Aurora Solar, LeadConduit, OpenPhone, UtilityAPI). Monitor the syncs, catch

failures early, and be first-line triage when something breaks.

• Protect data quality across leads, contacts, accounts, and contracts — imports, exports,

deduplication, and validation.

• Build reports and dashboards that leadership and operations actually use to run the

business.

• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce to streamline processes, boost

productivity, and support a rapidly scaling org.

• Partner with stakeholders to turn business requirements into tailored solutions that drive

a strong user experience and real business value, and support rollouts with training and

troubleshooting for end users.

• Resolve support requests and escalations quickly and completely, from access issues to

broken processes.

• Partner with the Platform Lead on deeper fixes and grow into owning code-level

integration work over time.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration in a live production org

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator

• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

• Strong Flow skills — you can build and debug real automation, not just adjust settings

• Hands-on experience connecting Salesforce to other systems through middleware

(Zapier or similar), with a working understanding of APIs and how data moves between

platforms

• Solid data management instincts — you keep data clean and can move it safely at scale

• A clear communicator who works well directly with non-technical people

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Salesforce certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or

Agentforce Specialist

• Experience integrating Salesforce with telephony, field-sales, or solar-design platforms

(e.g., Five9, SalesRabbit, Aurora Solar)

• Familiarity with Git and CLI-based development workflows

• Experience in solar, home services, or another high-volume, fast-scaling operation
