• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and characteristics of mood disorders, identifying individual client needs.
• Design customized treatment plans aligned with clients' goals and preferences, applying evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Guide clients and their families through educational sessions focused on understanding mood disorders, available treatments, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care and improve overall treatment outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health to enhance therapeutic techniques and client care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines while managing all client documentation meticulously.

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. By providing compassionate care tailored to each client’s unique background, you will play a crucial role in reshaping their mental health journeys.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trustful relationships with clients.
• A demonstrated ability to exhibit empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ life experiences.
