Responsibilities
  • The Field Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth. Increasing market share for MSA's Field Server line of industrial and commercial Routers and Gateways with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions that target facility automation and facility safety requirements.
  • The Field Sales Representative (FSR) will target / manage existing and new OEM and System Integrator accounts within the HVAC, Power Generation, and Industrial Automation markets to find opportunities for our FieldServer branded IIoT Gateways and Cloud Platform product lines.
  • The goal is to aggressively grow our sales by convincing the prospects to adopt and design our technologies into their products and systems and deploy them in the field.
  • The role is recognized as a subject matter expert within the market and provides leadership through mentorship, market insight, and influence on sales strategy and business outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Must have an advanced understanding of internet related applications such as e-mail clients, FTP clients, web browsers, and computer networks.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales principles, account management, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Must have the ability to understand the prospect's applications and rapidly determine if our solution is a fit.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, with the ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high-value sales cycles, including opportunity identification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain effective relationships with customers, distribution partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead or contribute significantly to cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver impactful training, demonstrations, and business proposals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making.

Education and experience required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:
    • Level I: 3 years of sales experience.
    • Level II: 4 years of sales experience.
    • Level III: 5 years of sales experience.
    • Level IV: 6 years of sales experience.
  • Master's degree in related field may be substituted for up to two years of relevant work experience
