Lead HVAC Technician    $25 – $55/hour | Full Benefits

Mount Baker Mechanical is part of a small family of companies that are employee owned. We are currently hiring an experienced Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing mechanical team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can lead projects in the field, ensure quality workmanship, and mentor team members while delivering top-tier service on commercial and residential systems.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma/GED
  • 5 years of HVAC experience
  • 2 years of HVAC Lead experience
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, make it to work on time every day
  • Safe driving practices and clean driving record
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-minded
  • Pass a drug test (including marijuana)
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents
  • Practice safety on job sites every day
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team and develop positive working relationships with peers, general contractors and owners.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPA Universal Certification


Responsibilities:

  • Lead HVAC installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Oversee job site operations and coordinate with project managers
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
