  • Install, calibrate, and maintain control systems, including thermostats, sensors, and building automation systems for commercial properties.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards and building codes, including EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling.
  • Respond to emergency repair calls for HVAC or refrigeration system failures in commercial buildings, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick resolutions.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance tasks performed, including parts used, systems serviced, and recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.
  • Collaborate with building management and other trades to coordinate HVAC and refrigeration services during building renovations or system upgrades.
Requirements:

    • Expertise in commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and refrigerated cases.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and refrigerant recovery equipment.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), work in tight spaces, and perform tasks on ladders or rooftops as required.
  • Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for travel between job sites.
